Lios Technology, which distributes OFDR distributed temperature measurement systems; has announced a partnership agreement with Blacksburg’s Prime Photonics, which concentrates on environment sensor solutions for the commercial and military product marketplace.The benefit of this cooperation between suppliers of fiber optic based measurement systems and sensors, say executives, is to combine customer bases and expand the scope of measurements offering point-type as well as distributed measurements. Says Konrad Linckh, vice president of Lios Technology.
