New Company Specializes in Change

Paula Wilder and Carol Huntley-Weber have formed WilderWeber, a consulting firm in Blacksburg that specializes in helping leaders plan and execute strategic change initiatives. The firm represents the combined experience of executives in organizational development, and strategic marketing and brand development.

“We help leaders build a sustainable advantage by facilitating change that’s strategic and that delivers both a competitive marketplace focus and enhanced organizational effectiveness,” says Wilder, a registered organization development consultant with more than 35 years’ experience in leadership, research, consulting, facilitation, coaching, training and teaching.

“We share a deep commitment to helping others achieve success,” adds Huntley-Weber, a senior sales and marketing executive with more than 30 years’ experience in business-to-business and consumer packaged goods companies. “Our collaborative approach allows us to deliver the full spectrum of our collective know-how and experience.”

Prior to forming WilderWeber, Wilder worked as an independent consultant, providing the full range of organization development services with proven results to more than 60 organizations in the region, including Delta Dental of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Warm Hearth Village, The Branch Group, Anthem, United Pet Group and the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.

Huntley-Weber most recently served as divisional vice president of marketing for the Cincinnati-based United Pet Group, a global pet care company with operations in Blacksburg. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational design, global marketing, brand development, product development, public relations, trade and customer marketing, process design, package design, e-commerce, social media marketing, sales and key account management, and category management.
